Job Description: The candidate would work as Level 1 resource and would primarily be involved in monitoring of IT infrastructure through monitoring tools and basic troubleshooting using defined procedures and run books. The candidate would be involved in monitoring of various elements of IT infrastructure including servers, network devices, storage and backup devices and databases or any combination thereof. The candidate would have to work in shifts to provide round the clock support.

HCL Tech to add 5000 freshers in 2010: Exec
NEW DELHI: Software services firm HCL Technologies plans to hire 5,000 fresh college graduates on a net basis in 2010, Anant Gupta, president, HCL Infrastructure Services division said on Wednesday.

He was talking to reporters at a news conference to discuss the company's results for the quarter ended March. Earlier in the day, the software firm reported a 73 percent rise in quarterly standalone net profit.
